Paul, I saw you singing on Oprah today. "You are Awesome". I had chill bumps on my arms, your voice is so angelic. Stay humble, don't let anyone steal your dreams. God has given you a special gift, use it wisely. I'm so proud of you facing your fears like that. I know it must have been hard for you. Perhaps one day I will get enough courage to face my biggest fears. Stay Blessed, Peace.....SugarPlum :-D

Wow seeing you on Oprah brought me to tears!
Paul,
I had never heard of you before but i just saw you singing Nessun Dorma on Oprah and you brought me to tears! The only other opera singer that has done that was the great Pavarotti. What an incredible voice you have and what a uplifting story. You are a dear. Just watched all the videos on this site and plan to buy your Christmas CD. I wish you much success in life.

Ciao!

I do hope you see this. I just bought (from ITunes) your song Cavatina. It is just so romantic, and I would love to hear even more of that style of music from you.
I also bought your Christmas songs. Your voice is so wonderful. I love Christmas music even more so than all others. So, I do hope you will do an entire Christmas CD at some point. Your voice is absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with the world. We are blessed.

Absolutely incredible!
Hi Paul,
I just wanted to leave a quick note to let you know what an amazing person you are. I was off work sick today and just happened to turn on Oprah this afternoon. I was completely floored by your story and your voice. I will be buying several of your cds for Christmas presents (and one for myself, of course!). I am a big opera fan and you certainly rank right up there in my books.
Cheers, and good luck in the future.

Fear Full and Wonder Full
Paul,
Two things you said and wrote got me really thinking: something along the lines of just wanting to do what you were born to do and the other having to do with whether you should change your smile.
Paul, you are a beautiful example of what a perfect God has done in times past and still does today as you have proven.

In regards to doing what you were born to do always remember these words: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well." (Psalm 139:14) Not only is the awesome and wonder of your voice more real to you personally, but it is also now known to the entire world. Give praise to the One Who made it so.

And if you are still wondering whether you should alter your external appearance remember these words: "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." (Jeremiah 1:5) This verse was written concerning the prophet Jeremiah, but the application to your life is plainly evident. Everything about you, whether done while in your mother's womb (formed) or during your life's experiences (the application of sanctified) has been done specifically on purpose. Nothing about you is an accident. God through His Son Jesus has purpose-full-ly designed every facet of your being. Rest in this truth.

It has been a pleasure listening. Keep singing.

The first time I heard the name...
A few weeks ago a friend of mine asked me if I had seen the Paul Potts video on YouTube. I thought he had said Pol Pot and asked why would anyone want to watch a video of the late Cambodian dictator and former leader of the Khmer Rouge. My friend replied "No, Paul Potts singing opera." So I Googled and found the video. I'm now among the legion of fans inspired by Paul's story. He proves that betting on oneself is always worth the risk.

Thanks Paul. Continued success!

Totally Awesome
Paul,

I saw you today on Opray and I wanted to hear more so I got on
my pc and found your audition for "Britian Has Talent".
You were/are AWESOME!!! You made me an opera fan and if you
ever come to Jacksonville, Florida I plan to be there on the front row.

When you sang Nessum Dorma I couldn't replay it enough times.
Can't wait until I can download you singing that song to my cell phone.

You are so grateful and humble with such incredible talent.
All wonderful attributes. Please stay that way!!! :)

Are you really still selling cell phones? :)

The best to you always,
(I'm sooooo glad I watched Opray today!!!)

the beauty of opera lives on to my generation through Paul Potts
My father and his best friend (they have both passed, but would be 91 if they were here) used to have "opera saturday" at my parent's house in Kansas City. I have my father's emotions and can't stop "welling up" since I just saw the link to your video. Thank you for providing the beauty of song to those of us around the world. I live in Minnesota now and have passed along your story to many; who I am sure will pass along to others too. Congratulations on your dream! I didn't even know you were on Oprah either!

An Inspiration to all who've dreamed
I guess I'm catching on to this wave a bit late, I've just caught the tail end of your Oprah special and I was absolutely moved. I immediately went to searching online for your story, which is tremendously inspiring, but your music, wow....can't even get close with words. You are an inspiration for anyone who has ever aspired to be someone of their own, to be unique and follow a dream. Thank you

Thank You!
No words can adequately describe the effect your voice had on me today. I had never heard you sing until today when on a whim I turned on the TV and caught part of the Oprah show. As soon as you started to sing, I felt chills from my toes to the top of my head. I taped the show and over the course of the evening I've listened to you sing several times on TV and on YouTube and to my surprise each time the effect has been electric. What an amazing gift you are to the world, Paul Potts! Your incredible talent and your inspiring story - a gentle and humble man who after years of struggle and adversity finally gets to do what he's always known he was meant to. You have been truly blessed and in turn you are blessing us. Your whole life has turned into a beautiful love story-like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis. Thank you. And thank you too, Julie-Ann, for giving Paul the love, confidence and courage he needed to follow his dream.
