Britain's Got Talent was Simon Cowell's search-for-a-star TV show with the winner getting a chance to perform for the Queen. The actual Paul Potts audition took place at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff on March 17, 2007. Paul Potts walked on stage and was very nervous in his cheap suit. He should not have been because the condensed version of Giacomo Puccini's "Nessun Dorma," he sang received a standing ovation from the audience and praise from the judges. The Paul Potts audition is one of the most watched YouTube videos of all time with over 20 million views as of January 06, 2008.
